Set up Google Data Connector

A guide for users with authorized AppsToAI access. Use your own Google account and the sites available to your Workspace.

  1. Open your Workspace

Sign in to the AppsToAI Dashboard and check the active Workspace, Google Data Connector setup and commercial status. Site access requires the correct product installation and entitlement; Google sign-in alone is not enough.

  2. Connect your Google account

Use the Dashboard's Google connection flow with an account that can read your Analytics, Search Console or AdSense data. Review the requested permissions. A connected account does not guarantee that every Google source is available.

  3. Sync and assign your sites

Sync sites in the Dashboard. Check which sources map to each site, assign a Managed Site within your plan capacity and enable AI Access. A discovered site is not automatically authorized for AI.

  4. Add the connector in ChatGPT

With a ChatGPT account that offers Developer Mode and MCP connectors, add the server URL below and complete its authorization flow. The connector exposes 13 tools. Your ChatGPT access is separate from the AppsToAI subscription.

  5. Start with your available sites

Ask ChatGPT to list your connected sites first (list_sites). Use the exact site_key it returns, then request a dated Analytics, Search Console or AdSense report for an available source. Missing data should stay missing; it is not automatically zero.

If a site or source is unavailable

For site_not_active, check the Workspace, commercial status, Managed Site assignment and AI Access. For missing source data, check Google permissions and source mapping. Keep the error code and time for troubleshooting; never share passwords or access tokens.

Understand the different access controls

Turning AI Access OFF, disconnecting Google, revoking ChatGPT access, deleting a connector account and canceling a subscription are separate actions. One does not automatically complete the others.

Continue in your Dashboard

Existing authorized users can check setup, source availability and actual commercial status in the Dashboard. New access and public payment availability are still subject to launch readiness.
